Themo has an integrated air sensor that will be used when no floor sensor is detected. Ensure the room sensor is not blocked by furniture, curtains, or other objects, as this can affect its performance.

- How to use Themo with hydronic (water-based) heating?
If you have 220V wall-mounted thermostats, you can replace them with Themo. Themo does notwork with a 24V system or battery powered system. The electricity price optimisation may not work as accurately as in the electric floor heating system as Themo is controlling the water circulation. The actual electricity consumption is made by the air to water heat pump or ground heat pump and there is always some inertia before it detects a need to start consuming electricity.
- How to use Themo with electric panel heaters?
If a room thermostat is connected to the room to control the contactors that go to the radiators, the thermostat can be replaced with Themo.
