Note! Safety Temperature feature is available only if floor sensor is connected.
When Themo measures floor temperature that is higher than the safety temperature, then all heating will be forced to stop. Themo waits for 15 minutes. If the floor temperature has fallen below the safety temperature by that time, it will allow the heating system to resume operation.
Safety Temperature feature works in all modes - Schedule and Manual Mode. Also in Off mode, when frost protection is enabled and set too high temperature (higher than Safety Temperature)
Setting safety temperature
- Open mobile app and navigate to Device > Settings > Configure device > Safety Temperature
- Use scroll to select new temperature value
- Save changes
It's important to note that the safety temperature is unique for every floor. To obtain the correct value for your floor, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the flooring material. Generally, for parquets and laminate floors, the safety temperature is around 27-29°C. However, for tile floors, the safety temperature is typically 29°C or above. By setting the correct safety temperature, you can ensure that your floor heating system operates safely and effectively.
