How to change temperature manually?

You can change the floor or room temperature temporarlily without modifying your current Schedule. This is called Manual Control or Boost.

Using the mobile app

From the Device View, use the circular slider to choose a target temperature for manual heating to reach and keep. Let go of the slider to apply the target temperature. Your device is now in Manual Mode.

When in Manual mode then the target temperature is displayed in the center of the screen. The current floor and/or room temperature is shown in the upper part of the screen

You can end the manual control any time by pressing the Resume schedule button, which will exit the manual control and return to the latest active schedule.

Directly on the WALL device

By touching the Themo MODE button you can select different operating modes. Themo uses LED lights to indicate its operating status. Here is a breakdown of the color codes and their meanings:

1. Smart Schedule Mode (Default Mode):

   • Purple/Blue Lights: When Themo is operating in Smart Schedule mode, it shows purple/blue lights. This indicates that the thermostat is following a pre-set schedule for temperature control. When the smart schedule is on, the LED light indicates the current price of electricity. If you wish, you can change the light settings from Themo mobile app.

2. Manual Mode:

   • LED Light Color Corresponding to Temperature: In this mode, the LED light color will change to reflect the manually entered temperature. 

3. Off Mode:

   • No Light (Off): When the thermostat is turned off, the LED light will be completely off, indicating that it is not actively controlling the temperature.

Note! You can use the app to turn off the lights on the device. This keeps the lights off when navigating between different modes.

Step 0. (Optional) Disable Child Lock

Child lock needs to be off before operating the device manually. You can either:

1. Press and hold the Mode button for 12 seconds to disable Child Lock from the device.
2. Disable the Child Lock from the app by navigating Device > Settings > Child Lock
   

Step 1. Select Manual Mode

Use the touch button to cycle between different operating modes and select the Manual Mode. Manual mode is indicated by the solid bright colour. 

Step 2. Hold and release to select target temperature

Hold down the touch button to cycle through the different target temperatures indicated by the colours changing on the display:

Release the button to select the desired target temperature. 

Step 3. Verify target temperature from the app

Use the app to see the what colour matches the numerical target temperature. When exiting Manual Mode, Themo remembers your last selected target temperature and next time you can activate the same setpoint with one click.

Directly on the DIN device

Step 0. (Optional) Disable Child Lock

Child lock needs to be off before operating the device manually. You can either:

1. Press and hold the Mode button for 12 seconds to disable Child Lock from the device.
2. Disable the Child Lock from the app by navigating Device > Settings > Child Lock

Step 1. Select Manual Mode

Use the MODE button to cycle between different operating modes and select the Manual Mode. Manual mode is indicated the text MANUAL on the screen.

Step 2. Adjust manual temperature

To adjust your temperature manually do the following:

1. Press the value up button on the right to increase target temperature
2. Press the value down button on the left to decrease target temperature

Important! Adjusting manual temperature is possible only when in thermostat mode. If device is used as PriceSwitch then no manual control is possible.
