How to set Maximum Temperature limit?

Created by Themo Support, Modified on Wed, 01 Feb 2023 at 01:38 PM by Themo Support

When using Themo with your floor heating it is very important to set the Maximum Temperature limit for each room where Themo is installed.

When setting up a new device the maximum temperature limit has been set to 30 degrees by default . It is possible to increase or decrease this temperature limit specifically to your floor.

Always check with your underfloor heating specification and floor manufacturer what the recommended maximum temperature to be used is.

To change the default value go to Room View and select Settings. From the settings list choose Maximum Temperature.

Use temperature selector to change the temperature limit. Tap on the new temperature to select and then confirm the new setting with the Change limit button

Please note that the temperature limit is only used with automatic schedule (SLS) and not with Manual Setpoint mode.

The Smart Schedule may preheat your floor before high electricity price period to reduce cost. Preheating will never exceed the set temperature limit.

The higher you set the maximum temperature limit the more cost reduction can be achieved with smart electricity price optimisation. However please consider your floor type and fellow habitants.
